Hosted by the WordPress Community of Kerala comprising of local meetups in Trivandrum, Kochi, Kozhikode, Malappuram, and Palakkad, this festival is a week-long celebration of creativity, diversity, and the spirit of open-source collaboration.

The WordPress Photo Festival sprang from a simple yet powerful idea: to galvanize photographers from all walks of life into contributing to the WordPress Photo Directory. This directory, started as an ambitious project two years ago, has flourished into a vibrant repository of over 13,000 photos, enriched by the diverse perspectives of more than 1,500 contributors worldwide. The festival serves as a beacon, shining a light on this remarkable initiative and inviting more visionaries to join the movement.

The heart of this festival beats in sync with the WordPress Photo Directory, a platform that redefines the sharing and utilization of images. It’s more than just a collection of photographs; it’s a testament to the power of open-source philosophy. Every image, contributed by photographers who believe in the freedom of art, is available under Creative Commons licenses. 2. Get your free tickets for the WordPress Photo Directory
3. Between February 3rd and February 9th 2024, submit your photos to the WordPress Photo Directory. Use the hashtag: #WPKeralaPhotos for your submissions to be considered.
