Hello, WordPress Community!

The WordPress Day for Developers 2024 is just around the corner, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make this event a success! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new event format, meet new people, and contribute to our community. Each volunteer will receive a free ticket, lunch and snacks, and will only be required to work shifts during half of the event.

We have the following positions available:

1. Check-in/Registration  

Are you organized and enjoy helping others start the day with a smile? As a Check-in/Registration volunteer, you’ll be the first person attendees see when they arrive. You will:

• Welcome participants and provide their credentials
• Answer basic questions about the event
• Help ensure a smooth flow at the beginning of the day

2. Stage Helper  

As a Stage Helper, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly during the presentations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting speakers before and during sessions
• Managing time and ensuring the schedule is followed
• Helping resolve any issues that may arise during the talks

3. Photographer

As a volunteer photographer you’ll be capturing moments of the event that will later be shared. You would need to bring your own equipment.
