    I am an experienced PHP web developer passionate about WordPress and Open Source. I am a native German speaker and speak Italian fluently as I live in Italy. Furthermore, I am curious about new computing trends and like to spend a lot of my free time updating, maintaining and supporting my WordPress plugins. I am also an active member in the local community, where I help as co-organizer of the WordPress meetup in Milan.

    I’m a professional brand and graphic designer with more than 20 years experience in graphic and web design: I have excellent experience in logo design, corporate image, print design and… WordPress!

    I have been volunteering at WordCamps (in Italy & Europe) since 2016, and I have been an organizer inWordCamps – in the design team – since 2018. I am also the organizer of the WordPress Meetup in my city, Terni and of Divi Meetup Italia.

    I designed the branding (logo + image) of the WordPress Community Italia in 2023, and the image of its related events.

    Enrico met WP in 2007. Creator of the Duplicate Post plugin, he’s now Plugin Team lead dev at Yoast.
    In the WordPress community, he’s been a WordCamp speaker and organizer as well as a WP Pisa Meetup organiser, and he’s currently part the WordCamp Europe 2025 organizing team.
    Used to be a movie buff, he still organizes film festivals in his hometown of Livorno, Tuscany.

    Digital Marketer, Web Designer & Problem Solver, Enrico Maria Tomassi is also the CEO and Co-Founder of a communications and marketing lab in the Greater Metropolitan Area of Rome.

    He discovered WordPress and the open source philosophy in 2008 and since 2012 they have become an important part of his work and lifestyle.

    Enrico is an active member of the WordPress Community Italia and the organizer of Zagarolo WordPress Meetup.

    With 25+ years experience architecting and developing full stack large-scale web-based applications, I enjoy building systems in PHP and Node.js using XP methodologies as more as possible.

    Open source enthusiast, I like to contribute actively to several open source projects attracted by every bazaar where free software is created while having fun. And the WordPress Community is one of my favorite places.

    More seriously involved in WP since 2014, I try to participate to WCEU and local WordCamps as much as I can (as attendee, organizer, volunteer or speaker), co-organizing Pisa Meetup, contributing to Core and joining to Five for the Future.

    In my off time, I enjoy cooking and playing keyobards and drums with my bands.
