Roles Available:

Volunteers: Assist with on-the-day activities like registration, attendee support, and AV support.

Time Commitment: Volunteers are expected to contribute 1-2 hours per week, primarily in the days leading up to the event and on the event day itself.

  1. Attendee Services: Assist attendees with queries and ensure they have a great experience.
    • Registration Support: Help manage the check-in process at the event.
    • Swag Distribution: Distribute goodies and event materials to attendees.
    • Q&A Facilitator: Ensure the microphone is promptly passed to attendees during Q&A sessions or discussions, keeping the event flow smooth and efficient.
    • Fun Games and Activities: Plan, organize, and facilitate interactive games and activities to keep attendees engaged and make the event enjoyable.
    • Food Support: Ensure smooth food distribution and address any related concerns.
  2. Media & Communications: Manage event updates, highlights, and attendee engagement through social media and other communication channels.
    • Social Media Handler: Post updates, photos, and highlights on social media during the event.
    • Website Content: Update and maintain the event website with accurate information, schedules, speaker details, and announcements.
    • Feedback Form: Collect feedback from attendees to help improve future events.
  3. AV Person: Manage audio-visual equipment for presentations and sessions.
    • Photography: Capture memorable moments from the event through photos.
    • Videography: Record sessions and event highlights for future use.
    • Feedback Videos/Short Interviews: Conduct brief interviews with attendees to capture their experiences and feedback.
  4. Design Roles: Create visually appealing materials for the event, including social media banners, printed banners, standees, and fun props for interactive activities.
    • Social Media Banners: Create eye-catching banners to promote the event online.
    • Printing Banners/Standees: Design and manage the printing of event banners and standees.
    • Props: Create fun and engaging props for photo booths or interactive activities.
  5. Emcee: Serve as the host of the event, guiding the audience through the schedule, introducing speakers, making announcements, and keeping the energy lively and engaging throughout the event.
