At 11:00 AM IST on February 3rd (Saturday), the Kerala WordPress Photo Festival was officially launched in an enthusiastic opening ceremony, presided by Naoko Takano, Ganga Kafle, as well as other members of the WordPress Community. We are officially accepting submissions for the festival, and encourage participants all over the world to join us for a week of celebrating photography!

How to participate?

  1. Make sure you have an active WordPress.org account!
    You will need an active WordPress.org account to participate in the Photo Festival! Don’t have a WordPress.org account yet? No problem! Follow this link to sign up for an account. It’s quick, easy, and unlocks your path to the festival. Need help in creating an account? Click here for more details.
  2. Get Your Free Ticket:
    Fill out the ticket form in our website to get your free ticket for the WordPress Photo directory! Note: The ticket is 100% free and participants all over the world can participate in this event. 
  3. Participate and Submit Your Photos:
    • The event is being held from February 3rd, 11:00 AM IST to February 9th, 2024, 06:00 PM IST. During this week, use your smartphone or camera to capture moments, emotions, and stories. 
    • Submit your photos to the WordPress Photo Directory. Only photos submitted between these days will officially be a part of the festival and will be considered for prizes. Here’s how you submit photos to the directory and here are the guidelines.
    • Don’t forget to use the hashtag #WPKeralaPhotos in your submissions (you can enter this text in the format #WPKeralaPhotos in the description field. This ensures your photos are part of the festival’s vibrant tapestry and in the running for our exciting prizes!

Note: To be a part of the festival, and to be eligible for prizes, participants must mandatory register for the event by purchasing a free ticket and use the hashtag #WPKeralaPhotos for their pictures
