As of 18:00 IST (12:30 UTC) on February 9th, we are no longer accepting photo submissions to the Kerala WordPress Photo Festival.
Participants can still upload photographs to the WordPress Photo Directory (and are strongly encouraged to, in fact!). However, photographs uploaded from this moment will not be considered for our prizes.
What next?
As the photo submissions have concluded, our team is going to be real busy in the next 24 hours to select the best pictures to award prizes! Our moderators will also use this time to approve any remaining photos so that all pictures uploaded before 18:00 UTC are available in the photo directory.
The winners will be announced in the closing ceremony of the event. As we write this post, we cordially invite all of you to attend our closing ceremony. The agenda of the same is as follows:
Time: IST 8.00 PM to 9.30 PM / 2.30 PM UTC to 4.00 PM UTC
- Keynote Address: Introduction to Openverse and Creative Commons Licenses – Dhruv Bhanushali, Code Wrangler, Automattic and Openverse
- Winner Announcement and Closing Remarks – Topher DeRosia, Michelle Frechette, and Marcus Burnette
