We are seeking volunteers to support the upcoming WordPress in Education Technology Showcase, a one-day event that highlights the innovative use of WordPress in education. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of this event and making a positive impact on the future of education technology.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Event Setup and Logistics: Assist with setting up the event venue, ensuring equipment is in working order, and providing logistical support throughout the day.
- Registration and Information Desk: Welcome attendees, provide event information and directions, and handle registration and check-in processes.
- Session Moderators and Timekeepers: Facilitate presentations and ensure sessions adhere to the schedule. Keep track of time and provide cues to presenters.
- Technology Support: Assist with technical setup and troubleshooting of presentation equipment and ensure smooth operation of technology throughout the event.
- Networking and Socializing: Facilitate networking opportunities among attendees, encourage interactions, and foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
